Child Care Minimum Standards Under Review: Please ParticipateThe Department of Family and Protective Services is conducting an evaluation and review of the current minimum standards for child care licensing, and they want your input and feedback. This is a great opportunity to participate in a very important aspect of early education policy creation. To participate please follow the instructions below INSTRUCTIONS: The survey requests that feedback be specific and include the standard number and suggested language for revisions so that we will be able to fully understand how to respond to your input. For example, rather than stating that the child-to-caregiver ratios need to be changed, please state what you think the child-to-caregiver ratios should be. For the most accurate results, it is important that, once you start the survey, you complete it in full because you cannot restart the survey later from where you left off. Therefore, we highly recommend that you: 1.Think about what changes you recommend for the standards (if any) before going to the survey link, and 2. Have a copy of the standards available as you complete the survey. HOW TO ACCESS THE SURVEY: Beginning June 15th, you can access the survey by clicking on this link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=pRoQwvC3UuVSbJ7I4MuGxw_3d_3d You can also access the link to the survey on the DFPS website on or after June 15th.
