The National Governor's Association (NGA) Presents A Governor's Forum on Quality PreschoolThe National Governor's Association (NGA) Presents A Governor's Forum on Quality Preschool. The Governor's Forum on Quality Preschool is an event presented by the NGA's Center for Best Practices and hosted by Governor Jeb Bush in Orlando, Florida on December 15-16, 2003. Governors are invited to join in a high-profile roundtable discussion (open to the media), and bring with them a team of high-level state policy makers who will discuss issues related to quality preschool over the course of the two days. This is a great opportunity to raise awareness about what states are doing, the challenges we face and to raise the visibility of the importance of quality preschool. The Governors Forum on Quality Preschool is supported through generous funding from members of the foundation community, including the Pew Charitable Trusts, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, The Foundation for Child Development, the Joyce Foundation, and the George Gund Foundation.
