TECEC LeadershipTECEC's work is guided by the leadership of the Executive Board. Executive Board Members Susan Hoff, Board Chair Dr. Alvin Tarlov, Honorary Lifetime Board Member Governance History Prior to January 2010, three statewide committees including an Executive, Advisory, and Professional Advisory Committee on Infants and Toddlers guided TECEC's work. These committees were comprised of representatives from statewide groups as well as local community organizations. The Executive Committee was made up of 20 diverse individuals from more than nine regions of the state who participated in monthly strategy sessions. The Advisory Committee consisted of 21 community leaders from more than 14 regions of the state who met formally three times a year to track progress and provide input on efforts. Finally, to ensure the optimal development of children ages birth to five, the Professional Advisory Committee on Infants and Toddlers was created in 2006 with key stakeholders from more than 11 diverse regions of the state. Former TECEC Co-Chairs are Sandi Borden, Executive Director of the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA), and Jason Sabo, Senior Vice President of Public Policy for United Ways of Texas (UWT). |
